Pool Fencing

Vinyl pool fencing is another very popular solution across Georgia. Vinyl pool fencing provides privacy and protection. Most vinyl fencing styles are manufactured to meet the strictest of local pool code requirements. Because vinyl isn't affected by the moisture or pool chemicals, it is often the preferred pool fence solution by our customers.

The safest fence to install around your pool is a 4-sided pool fence made of aluminum or mesh panels. Most locales in Georgia specify that a pool fence must be 4 or 5 feet tall, be unscalable (without cross rails that give a toe-hold), and have no gaps over 4 inches between or below the slats

Vinyl fences also work great for pool fencing, and unlike aluminum, can be made in privacy styles.

Most local Georgia regulations require that the top of a fence or wall used as a barrier needs to be a minimum of 48 inches above the exterior side of the barrier. The access gate opens away from the swimming pool. There will be a clear zone of at least 20 inches between the barrier and swimming pool. When we install your fence, we will make sure that it is 100% compliant with all local pool regulations.

Pool fences should be a minimum of 4 feet high, although fences 5 feet or higher are preferable. If the home serves as one side of the barrier, it is best to install door alarms on all doors leading to the pool area.
